This year’s Virgin STRIVE Challenge is all about pushing boundaries. Our extraordinary group of Strivers will travel from the Southern point of Sardinia to the Summit of Mont Blanc under human and sail power. In doing so, we aim to raise at least £1 million for Big Change to fund innovative projects that set young people up to thrive in life, not just in exams. These projects are big, bold, and brave ideas that solve current problems in the education space at their root – rather than treating the symptoms.

Through their continued support of STRIVE, Virgin have demonstrated their embodiment of the values upon which the challenge was founded. They recognise that Big Change doesn’t happen alone – it is only through bringing together extraordinary groups of people around a common purpose that we can achieve a thriving future for young people. They also understand that nothing valuable ever comes by taking the easy path – it is through facing obstacles, overcoming challenges and stepping bravely into the unknown that we can move forward.
